Friends come and go. Some return again. I had the fateful opportunity to reunite with my elementary school friend after 13 years. I was slightly worried that I might not recognize her while anxiously waiting at the station. Luckily none of us look drastically different. We bonded and picked up where we left off, sharing stories of our current lives and future dreams.
We dined at Saveur, a mini French bistro for lunch. There was a line up before opening hours, and the small restaurant was instantly full in less than 10 minutes. The servings were quite small, but delicious. Price range was reasonable. 
We then headed for some dessert. There's always room for dessert, right? This particular cafe had a store front with random items for sale.
It is quite common in my neighbourhood to encounter stray cats. They enjoy lazing on cars, staring at people walking by, and slumber in the shade during the day.

Ventured to Chinatown that same night. Dad thought it was a good idea to experience the lively atmosphere during the festive season. I thought otherwise. I felt consumed in a sea of people, much like the streets of Hong Kong. I did not take much photos, as I was busy recording short footages. Scroll down and check out the video I've compiled!
Went toy shopping at another mall with a colleague. It was like heaven. Unfortunately I was not able to take photos inside the stores. 
Every Chinese New Year, my grandparents will pay respects to our ancestors, placing food on a table as offerings while they pray; it is consumed after it has been blessed. Delicious home cooked food is delicious!

Had lunch with my brother's godparents' family. The kids are growing up too fast!
Drove around after breakfast the next day to check out Zaha Hadid's "Reflections". Amazing work, yet it seems foreign against existing buildings.
