Collaboration | Floral Escape

We had the pleasure of collaborating with Sylvia Luu at Makeup Love Story for the second time, and she helped to put together two Springtime beauty makeup looks. These photographs were actually taken right before Spring and it was raining and windy, but it's hard to tell through these photographs. Sasha braved the cold wintry weather as well, and she looked stunning with her gorgeous blue eyes. We had a lot of fun making DIY floral headbands for this shoot, and just the bright pop of colours can really help brighten anyone's day.

Portraits | Back To Nature

It seems like a tradition that every year around this time, we have a photoshoot of each other. We have fun dressing up, trying out new locations, and just having a good time photographing one another. Then we go for some yummy food after and it is an all-around great bonding experience for us. We also never forget to bring a lot of personality to the shoot (this is a must)! This year we decided to go to a forest for our photoshoot and take in the inspiration from the surrounding greenery. The atmosphere is very chill and relaxing. It's been a great year exploring our photography and style with weddings, fashion-inspired shoots, and portraitures, but it's nice going back to this tradition and seeing how we've grown as people through these photographs of us.

Spring Enchantment

In early February, we planned a spring-themed photoshoot with Janet whom I met while working on a school conference together. We wanted to capture her youthfulness and her optimistic energy. She was such a sweetheart and full of light, despite having to endure the winter cold! Even though I've only known her for less than 3 months, you can really feel her bubbly spirit through the photos with her infectious smile. She's the kind of person you want to be friends with and want to get to know. :) We hope that this colourful, free-spirited, sweet imagery of Janet can help you look forward to the Spring season as soon flowers will start blooming, albeit after we tolerate the Vancouver rain! No pain, no gain right?

Analogous Gold

A few weeks ago, we brainstormed a creative shoot just between the two of us. We wanted to try something new. Our photography style for ammé photographie has always been bright and cheerful with natural lighting. This time, we decided to challenge ourselves and use studio lighting instead. The theme for this photoshoot is contrast, drama, and fashion.

Photoshoot | Enchanting

We had great pleasure to work with Linda Dong, who does both modelling and photography. The idea was to create a fairy/forest nymph-themed shoot. Linda is very photogenic and she also isn't afraid to go above and beyond to get the right shot! This photoshoot was taken at Queen Elizabeth Park on a beautiful sunny day. :)
